About the Founder
“Like many other children I was exposed to music from a young age and began to develop a relationship with it: its ability to express the tension and release of feelings and thoughts which may or may not have a name. Music was a sociable and fun thing as well as a deeply personal means of expression to which I could escape. It helped me develop not only creative skills but analytic, academic and socially interactive skills. However, most importantly it enabled me to develop a sense of personal responsibility and self-motivation.
It is now my profession and my passion, both as a performer and pedagogue and something which I feel a responsibility towards in terms of passing on the knowledge and positive experiences it has given me.”
